Espresso’s Toronto office is seeking a sickeningly organized production manager to oversee a range of projects in the digital, social, experiential, and traditional realm.
Our future Infiltrator will have about five or so years of production management expertise, be a smartie pants with delightful communication skills, and have the diplomatic savvy to push hard without causing major irritation. You love a good Gantt, Visio gives you joyful heart palpitations, and you play with new project management tools in your spare time just for fun. (What? We don’t find it at all odd that you mapped out your wedding in Basecamp. Hmph.)
So what would you have to do?
- Create project estimates and timetables – and mean them
- Schedule and oversee production timelines
- Negotiate and manage vendor relations
- Production trafficking
- Work with account service team to track, manage, and report on job financials
- Prepare key project milestone reports for client review
- Attend weekly account service status meeting
- Oversee weekly production status meeting
- Systematize, formalize, and obsessively dream about ongoing efforts to streamline in-house production flow, processes, and reporting
Outside the obviousness of the role itself, we are seeking someone who falls in love with ideas, who thrives on learning more and thinking smarter. Someone who lives and breathes emerging media. Someone who can handle a plethora of details on projects both traditional and innovative. Someone who embraces the exclusion of ego like it’s a personal science.
Think that’s you? Send a resume and cover letter noting your favourite blog and salary expectation to jobs [at] brandinfiltration.com. Only those on whom we develop preliminary professional crushes will be contacted.

I’d kill to work for Espresso, if just for the sole fact that you guys have the coolest job descriptions and write-ups. Very cool company.

Up until five minutes ago, I had no idea what Basecamp was. I did a search and toured their website and am now wondering how I ever lived without it.
…Thanks.
