Art From the Unexpected

One of the underpinnings of Brand Infiltration™ is an understanding that, while both are clearly essential to excellent brand work, creative isn’t simply about pretty pictures and clever turns of phrase. The Infiltrators are obsessed with being creative in all job functions, whether that means coming up with brilliant means by which to design measurement into programs or figuring out innovative ways in which to use emerging technologies. We lovelovelove the creative process, and we firmly believe that it has to exist both within and beyond the studio – for the sake of the client, the sake of the agency, and the sake of moving the entire industry forward.

Art from the Unexpected

This is why I am enormously excited to announce an upcoming event in which I’m participating – Art From the Unexpected. Developed by AdLounge, Art From the Unexpected is about challenging twenty industry leaders, who don’t typically get to be visually creative in their day-to-day, to create an original art piece. The event is being held at Steam Whistle Brewery in downtown Toronto on June 16 as a fundraiser for SKETCH, a community arts initiative that creates opportunities for street-involved and homeless youth aged 15-29 by offering them tools to engage in the arts, a safe place to express and create, and opportunities to creatively integrate back into community life.

So while I sit here and ponder my contribution, I propose that you buy your tickets. An amazing concept in support of an amazing charity, Art From the Unexpected promises to show its guests a great time.
