MIXX ‘09

This Thursday, Nathan and I will be attending the MIXX conference series in Toronto. Hosted by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), the MIXX conference is a series of full-day conferences with the goal of keeping marketing professionals ahead of the rest when it comes to anything interactive. The speakers this year come from a variety of backgrounds including Jascha Franklin Hodge, who was part of the Obama campaign, Gian Fulgoni, from comScore, and Fernando L. Barbella, the Interactive Creative Director at BBDO Argentina.

While the cost of the conference is normally quite high, the organizers have made it more accessible to students by offering 100 free tickets to any student interested. This great opportunity gives a chance to learn from top industry experts, as well as provide excellent networking possibilities for anyone in attendance.
